In a rare August event. the City Club on AUGUST 18, 2020 @ 7:00 p.m. will host a virtual forum for the City of San Marino to present information to the community on the remodeling plan for the San Marino Center as well as updates from the City of San Marino Police and Fire Departments.
Michael Throne, Park and Public Works Director/City Engineer and Aldo Cervantes the Community Development Director, will be the featured speakers. This will be your opportunity to learn what the City has in store for the new San Marino Center and for the City Club as the City moves forward with these improvements. The Interim Community Services Director Josette Espinosa and Amanda Merlo, the City’s Acting Community Engagement Director will also be in attendance to answer questions from the audience.
San Marino Police Chief John Incontro will speak about theft prevention and community engagement
San Marino Fire Chief Mario Rueda will update the community on the County and City’s responses to COVID-19.

The San Marino City Club is a non-profit civic organization that since 1926 has been dedicated to obtaining for the citizens of the San Marino the best civic, educational and cultural services and facilities possible, and to encouraging and promoting the highest standards of citizenship among its membership. City Club membership is open to residents of the San Marino Unified School District, officials of the School District or the City of San Marino, persons who conduct their business or profession within the School District or persons who have a significant and ongoing relationship with the San Marino Community. Membership provides the member with eight dinner meetings that feature timely, important, and informative speakers of both local and national interest and on a wide variety of subjects, and the opportunity to meet many of San Marino’s elected officials, city and school district leaders and of course its wonderful citizens.
