San Marino City Club School Board Forum
September 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
On SEPTEMBER 17, 2020 @ 7:00 p.m., the San Marino City Club will be hosting a forum for all candidates running for the position of School Board Member on the San Marino Unified School District Board of Education. The date of the election is November 3, 2020.
Five candidates will be contesting the two open seats. The City Club traditionally hosts forums for contested elections. Given the constraints on public gatherings caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the City Club has decided to host a hybrid live/zoom event where the candidates will all be together. They will be physically distanced in a meeting room with moderator Mitch Lehman, from the San Marino Tribune. Those who want to see the forum but who cannot attend live will be able to view it on the City Club website and on YouTube following the event. The San Marino City Club is particularly grateful to the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens which has graciously provided the meeting facility for this event.
The public is invited to view and participate in the forum via a Zoom meeting link that will be sent to all persons who register to attend the event from the San Marino City Club website located at www.sanmarinocityclub.org in advance of the meeting. Participation is limited to 100 computers connecting at the time of the event on a first come, first served basis. Registration is free to all members of the public. City Club members may RSVP by clicking REGISTER NOW below, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (626) 765-4411 and leaving a message with the member’s name. All registrants will receive an email with the Zoom Meeting information and password. For more information on this event, please visit the City Club’s website at www.sanmarinocityclub.org.
