Club meetings are on the third Tuesday (generally) of each month. Please view the Events Schedule page for exact dates, as there are occasional date changes. Dinner meetings provide time for members to visit with old friends and make new ones. Guests have the chance to meet Club members and discuss local issues or share views related to the evening’s presentation topic.
Evening Schedule:
– 5:30 PM Informal reception, check-in, socializing, and hors d’oeuvers
– 6:15 PM Presentation of Colors (Flag Salute) by local Scout Troops
– 6:20 PM Invocation by local Clergy or Volunteer Member
– 6:25 PM Welcomes and Introductions
– 6:30 PM Club Announcements and dinner
– 7:00 PM Featured Speaker presentation
– 8:30 PM Meeting ends (typically)
Meeting Locations:
– January through May, September, October – Community Center or Alternate Venue TBA
– November – Tournament of Roses Queen and Court Night – Community Center

Please plan to join us as a guest; however, please do register to attend. Walk-ins make it difficult to plan for catered dinner meals. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing information about the Club and the benefits of becoming a member.
Members are encouraged to invite guests to dinner meetings so they can be introduced to the activities of the City Club and meet the current members. It is often the case that guests will already know many if not most of the people in the Club.
Outstanding speakers are featured at each meeting. In the past, these have included Members of Congress, the Governor of California, other state officers, members of the State Senate and Assembly, county supervisors, city officials, CEOs of major companies in Southern California, Federal and State judges, presidents of local universities, award-winning authors, leading scientists, entertainment executives, and sports celebrities. Speakers for the current year can be found on the Events menu and a list of guest speakers from 1991 through 2024 can be viewed by clicking the Events Schedule menu. If available, video of the featured speaker’s presentation will be linked to the Video Archives menu. RSVPs for all dinner meetings should be made online.
